Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Vice Vault ("we", "us", "our") is an independent gaming guide website operating at vicevault.linkwa.in. We are not affiliated with Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or any game publisher. For questions about this policy, contact us at support@vicevault.linkwa.in.

2. What data we collect

2.1 Data you give us

• Email address — when you join the waitlist, subscribe to the newsletter, or create a Vice Vault account.
• Name — when you create an account (first name and last name, used to personalise your dashboard).
• Platform preference — PS5, Xbox, or PC, collected at signup to serve relevant cheat codes and guides.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Razorpay. We do not receive, see, or store your card number, CVV, or bank details at any point.

2.2 Data we collect automatically

• Analytics data — pages visited, time on site, referral source, and device type. Collected via Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics.
• IP address — collected by Cloudflare as part of standard CDN and security operations. We do not log or store IP addresses independently.
• Cookies — see Section 5 below.

3. How we use your data

• To deliver the weekly intelligence newsletter every Thursday
• To manage your subscription and grant access to member content
• To send your waitlist welcome email and launch-day access link
• To personalise your dashboard (your name, platform, reading progress)
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it
• To send transactional emails (payment confirmation, subscription renewal notices)

We do not use your data for advertising targeting, profiling, or sale to third parties. We do not send marketing emails beyond the weekly newsletter you opted into.

4. Data storage and retention

Email addresses and account data are stored in Cloudflare KV — a globally distributed key-value store operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Data is stored in data centres within the EU and US.

We retain your data for as long as your account or newsletter subscription is active, plus 90 days after deletion or unsubscription, to allow for recovery if a deletion was accidental.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@vicevault.linkwa.in. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

5. Cookies

Vice Vault uses the following cookies:

• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — track page visits and user behaviour anonymously. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
• Cloudflare cookies — used for CDN performance and security (bot detection). These are essential and cannot be disabled without breaking site functionality.
• Session cookies — used to keep you logged in to your Vice Vault account. These expire when you close your browser or after 30 days of inactivity.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies of any kind.

6. Third-party services

Vice Vault uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policy:

• Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, DNS, KV storage) — cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
• Razorpay (payment processing) — razorpay.com/privacy
• Resend (transactional email delivery) — resend.com/privacy
• Google Analytics (site analytics) — policies.google.com/privacy

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — request that we delete your data
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to how we process your data
• Unsubscribe — every email includes an unsubscribe link

8. Children's privacy

Vice Vault is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

GTA 6 is rated 18+ in most regions. Vice Vault content is intended for adult players only.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify active subscribers by email. Continued use of Vice Vault after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
